Mission

We aim at bringing out the essence in all styles of dance to the college crowd. Our vision is to create opportunities for the students to perform on stage, in and outside the campus representing our Institution. Our mission is to continue improving the quality of dance performed by our team members.

About us

Crescent crew was formed in the year 2008 under the Indian Society for Training and development-Crescent to find and cherish the talents of individuals and provide a stage to expose their talents. We train and hone student’s skills and provide the students with an opportunity to show them to the world.

Crescent crew classical (TEAM KRIPA) is an all-female classical dance team of Crescent. It was named after the Sanskrit word “Kripa” which means Grace. It was started in the year 2019. Within a year of time, the team has performed in more than 10 events, has won many intercollegiate competitions, and has now become an established team in Crescent.

Activities and Achievements

• Won first place for adaptune – Stanley medical college 2019.
• Won first place for adaptune – Chettinad medical college 2019.
• Won first place for adaptune – Hindustan university 2020.
• Won first place for adaptune – Pondicherry engineering college

• Won first place for solo dance – Chettinad Medical College 2019.
• Won second place for solo dance – Chettinad Medical college 2019.
• Won runner up at Crescendo’19, an inter-college competition-group dance.
• Won First place for adaptune at SHRISHTI’20 – Ethiraj.

• Orion 2019 Tamil Day special Bharatanatyam group performance
• BRIDGE – ICT ACADEMY – classical group performance at le royal meridien – 31st January 2019

• Performed at the MBA department’s Joint cultural program in July 2019
• Performed at the Natural disaster management – Government organized program in August 2019.

• Performed at CresCarnival – Group performances – October 2019

• Performed at the ECE department’s conference – January 2020
• Performed at the Biotechnology international conference in February 2020
